  • This Universal PLCC ZIF (Zero-Insertion-Force) Test Socket will take 7 sizes of PLCC footprints with Aries’ Insert Plate, P/N XX-537-20 – see Data Sheet 10012, available separately.
  • The PLCC is inserted “live bug” (pins down) into the position over the bed and the top-half of the clamshell is closed for testing and/or programming etc., operations. The solder tail pins on the bottom are the ends of the contacts or “bed,” thus permitting mounting to a PC board.
  • Accepts JEDEC MO-047AA-AH PLCC’s and JEDEC MO-044AA-AB Ceramics with 20, 28, 44, 52, 68, or 84 square leads. Also accepts JEDEC MS-016 PLCC’s with 32 rectangular leads.
