QUALITY ENGINEER

Quality and Mechanical Product Design Engineer-Full Time
Salary: Based on experience and requirements
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of small product design using SolidWorks.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred); Associate's Degree (minimum)
Aries Electronics, Inc., an electronic connector/adapter manufacturer located in Bristol, Pa., is looking for a Quality Engineer to perform Quality Assurance functions as well as product design of connectors, adapters, test sockets, cable assemblies, tooling and fixtures for manufacturing on an as needed basis.
The major requirements and experience level of the ideal candidate are (but not limited to):
Quality Assurance and Mechanical Engineering experience.
Small part and assembly inspection experience using calipers, micrometers, gage pins and blocks, optical comparators, tool makers microscopes, x-ray machine, optical visual inspection equipment including a Nikon Vision inspection system.
Reviewing, analyzing and responding to RMAs, ECNs, material non-conformances and corrective actions.
Working with and coordinating design, manufacturing and assembly improvements with the Engineering, CNC Manufacturing and Product Assembly Departments.
Assisting with any improvements, maintenance or upgrades to our ISO-9001 2015 Quality System and Certification.
Assist with internal and external audits to support our ISO-9001 2015 Quality System and Certification and/or any customer required audits.
Be capable of entering and generating BOMs in our Visual ERP system.
Generating inspection reports.
At least three years of product design experience using SolidWorks (experience using versions 2016, 2015 or 2014). A candidate with professional SolidWorks training is a plus.
Experience with SolidWorks Flow simulation for thermal studies is a plus.
Product design experience with molded and machined plastics, stamped and formed metals, as well as various assembly and manufacturing methods is desirable.
Tooling and fixture design experience is a plus.
Must be able to troubleshoot issues and supply technical support to our customers and sales group.
Must be capable of working on multiple projects, be detailed oriented and have document control experience.
Must be very focused, organized, reliable and be able to provide accurate detailed work and complete projects on time.
Must have experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, e-mail and internet use.

MECHANICAL PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER

At least three years of product design experience using SolidWorks (experience using versions 2016, 2015 or 2014). A candidate with professional SolidWorks training is a plus.

QA/QC MANAGER

A small, privately owned manufacturer of electronic interconnect products is seeking an experienced, degreed, team oriented person to lead our Quality Assurance/Control department in Bristol, PA .
To be considered for this opportunity you must:
have a degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field.
work individually and multitask in a fast paced environment.
be able to handle and visually work with small, delicate parts.
be proficient in dimensional inspection of parts using a Nikon Vision Inspection System, calipers, micrometers, gage pins / blocks, optical comparators, digital microscopes and an x-ray machine.
maintain Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Document Control and Corrective Action systems.
be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
have at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or electronic assembly environment.
discuss and resolve part issues with CNC Machinists, Engineers and Production workers.
have experience or working knowledge of ISO Quality systems/ standards and requirements.
have experience or working knowledge of IPC standards would be beneficial.
have experience using Microsoft Office and ERP software.
Key responsibilities of this full time position are:
Maintain, update and continuously improve our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management system and perform internal audits and management reviews.
Develop, update and generate new procedures as needed.
Eliminate and prevent quality problems at all levels of the organization using quality objectives.
Interact with customers, suppliers, production and engineering personnel in resolving quality problems and leading the implementation of corrective actions.
Set-up, use, and calibrate mechanical, electronic, and optical test equipment to inspect very small production parts.
Inspection of incoming, in-process and finished product (including precision machined plastic and metal parts, molded plastic parts, and printed circuit boards).
Evaluate and process customer returns and non-conforming materials.
Complete and submit customer supplied environmental and safety surveys.
